Jo's expertise is in shifting boundaries to accelerate results. Throughout her career both in the UK and Australia, Jo has been passionate about redefining the industries in which she has served – with an unrelenting conviction that to win you have to lead the way. This passion and belief are the drivers upon whichwas created. Today as a Strategic Leadership Advisor she provides objective knowhow, an alternative view and additional business prowess to leaders and businesses who have the courage, daring and conviction to lead the way.

Jo has a simple though not always easily executed philosophy which is – to win you have to consistently focus on doing the right things and do those things right, therefore effectively and efficiently managing your organisations assets to:

  • Optimise the contribution made by the greatest asset of your business - your people
  • Enhance ethical behaviours and contribute to improving the quality of life of employees, their families, the local community and society at large

Jo's success as a visionary leader has been underpinned by her ability to align all stakeholders through the development of clearly defined guiding lights that engender unity of thinking and actions for the benefit of all. Jo was the Publishing Director of South London Press Group, a division of the largest UK publisher. Her most recent role, Chief Operating Officer of the Sensis owned Trading Post Group, followed her tenure as General Manager, Adcorp Australia (Victoria). She served on the board of Crisis Support Services, a Professional Telephone Counseling Organisation and is currently on the committee of the Melbourne Business Network and non-executive director of the Norwood Foundation.

Jo is an active participant in the business community, most recently she has been honoured to MC the City of Melbourne's Women in Business lunch and the Melbourne Business Networks Supper Club Series. In addition she is a public speaker, facilitator and business awards judge. In combining her commercial acumen and commitment to the community, Jo is currently rolling out an initiative entitled 'Our town Our future' the purpose of which is to create business led - Town Centre Partnerships whose role is to protect and grow the vitality and viability of their local economy.

Jo created the i Factor™, a systematic approach that brings to the fore an organisations innate capacity to achieve accelerated results. A subject that she shares through her Keynote Topics and Business Programmes.
